Overview
Learn to send, receive and manage email, tasks and appointments in Microsoft Outlook 2002 (XP).
Target Audience
This course is aimed at users who have little or no experience using Microsoft Outlook 2002 (XP), users who have used other email applications (like Lotus Notes) and wish to convert to Outlook or users who have used previous versions of Outlook and wish to brush up on the differences in this version.
Prerequisites
It is essential that course participants have successfully completed a Windows Introductory course, or have gained a similar level of knowledge within the work environment. Specifically participants need to be fully conversant in:
- Basic Keyboarding (Shift, Caps Lock, Ctrl etc).
- Basic Windows Operating System Navigation.
- Mouse Skills.
Objectives
Upon completion users will be able to:
- Send and receive mail.
- Organise their diary and arrange meetings across the network.
- Manage a ‘to do list’ using tasks and delegate responsibility for tasks.
- Keep a record of work completed using journal.
- Add and manage contacts.
- Use the notes facility.
