Microsoft Excel 2002 (XP) - Core
Overview
Learn to manage, create and edit Microsoft Excel spreadsheets.
Target Audience
This course is aimed at users who have little or no experience using Microsoft Excel 2002 (XP), users who have used other spreadsheet applications (like Lotus 123) and wish to convert to Excel or users who have used previous versions of Excel and wish to brush up on the differences in this version.
Prerequisites
It is essential that course participants have successfully completed a Windows Introductory course, or have gained a similar level of knowledge within the work environment. Specifically participants need to be fully conversant in:
- Basic Keyboarding (Shift, Caps Lock, Ctrl etc).
- Basic Windows Operating System Navigation.
- Mouse Skills.
Objectives
Upon completion users will be able to:
- Apply core skills in creating and managing simple workbooks.
- Understand and utilise the key components of Excel to increase productivity.
- Create and print professional workbooks using Excel’s page setup commands.
- Produce effective spreadsheets through the utilisation of simple formulas.
