Microsoft Word 2000 - Core
Overview
Learn to manage, create and edit Microsoft Word documents.
Target Audience
This course is aimed at users who have little or no experience using Microsoft Word 2000, users who have used other word processing applications and wish to convert to Word or users who have used previous versions of Word and wish to brush up on the differences in this version.
Prerequisites
It is essential that course participants have successfully completed a Windows Introductory course, or have gained a similar level of knowledge within the work environment. Specifically participants need to be fully conversant in:
- Basic Keyboarding (Shift, Caps Lock, Ctrl etc).
- Basic Windows Operating System Navigation.
- Mouse Skills.
Objectives
Upon completion users will be able to:
- Utilise core skills in creating and managing simple documents.
- Understand and utilise the key components of Word to increase productivity.
- Create and print professional documents using Word’s page setup and proofing tools.
