Microsoft PowerPoint 2000 - Core
Overview
Learn to create visually rich presentations for overhead display.
Target Audience
This course is aimed at users who have little or no experience using Microsoft PowerPoint 2000, users who have used other presentation applications and wish to convert to PowerPoint, or users who have used previous versions of PowerPoint and wish to brush up on the differences in this version.
Prerequisites
It is essential that course participants have successfully completed a Windows Introductory course, or have gained a similar level of knowledge within the work environment. Specifically participants need to be fully conversant in:
- Basic Keyboarding (Shift, Caps Lock, Ctrl etc).
- Basic Windows Operating System Navigation.
- Mouse Skills.
Objectives
Upon completion users will be able to:
- Utilise core skills in creating and managing simple presentations.
- Understand and utilise the key components of PowerPoint to increase productivity.
- Add impact to presentations using Transition and Animation Schemes.
